Homemade Pita Chips

No more trying to dip store-bought pita chip crumbs into your delicious dip. These 3 ingredient homemade pita chips are easy to make and the perfect crunch for any dip or spread!

Ingredients:

  • 12 pita bread pockets

  • 2.5 tsp Kara’s Greek Rub

  • 1/3 cup Olive Oil

Recipe:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and line two rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. Mix together the oil and KG Rub in a small bowl.

  3. Cut each pita bread into 8 triangles using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.

  4. Arrange the pita triangles in a single layer on each of the prepared baking sheets

  5. Brush with oil mixture. Not all will fit (I was able to fit 2 pitas on one baking sheet), so set remaining triangles aside.

  6. Bake on two racks until lightly browned and crispy, about 7-10 minutes, switching halfway through.

  7. Remove from oven and place pita chips on a serving platter.

  8. Repeat Steps 4 thru 6 with remaining triangles and oil mixture.

Serve with your favorite dip (we highly recommend our Greek Hummus dip recipe) and enjoy!
